Colton J. Hilgenkamp is a personal injury attorney who began his career assisting injured clients in the Baton Rouge area for six years before eventually graduating from LSU Law in 2022 with honors. Cole’s practice includes auto accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death cases, and spinal injury cases on behalf of clients throughout Louisiana.
During school, Cole excelled in the courtroom by winning LSU’s trial advocacy competition and writing an award-winning brief for the Southeastern Invitational National Moot Court Competition. As a result of these accolades, Cole was nominated to the Wax Malone Inns of Court and the exclusive Order of the Barristers. Cole also clerked for the Honorable John W. deGravelles of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
Cole is married to Erika Hilgenkamp of Zachary, Louisiana. The two have three amazing children, Laela, Oliver and Brynn. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family and loved ones, support the LSU Tigers and the Saints, and take the field for the Baton Rouge Tigers Australian Rules Football Club.
