Many Louisiana families are waiting for SNAP benefits to be restored. Chicken Salad Chick in Denham Springs is stepping up to help. The restaurant is offering free kid’s meals during this time of need.

In a post on Instagram, the restaurant shared:
“Please limit to one kid’s meal per child present, dine-in only. No purchase necessary, no questions asked.”
The restaurant said this offer is not political. Their message is simple: no child should go hungry.
The free meals are available at the Denham Springs location off Juban Road. Other Louisiana locations are also joining the effort.
